About
Giovanni Munoz, a Colombian architect, is the President and Founder of MVA Design Concepts. Born in Bogota, Colombia, he studied architecture at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He earned a five-year bachelor’s degree in architecture and design with Honors and, in 2006, a 12-month professional internship in Florida, where he quickly picked up all Florida Building Code-related matters. With 18 years of practice, Mr. Munoz is a member of NCARB, AIA, and NAR, enabling him to work with national and international clients.
Mr. Munoz’s architectural expertise extends beyond the borders of the United States. He has successfully completed projects in various countries, showcasing a diverse portfolio of typologies. These projects range from ground-up design and renovation of residential, multifamily, commercial, and retail design projects. His international experience has equipped him with a global perspective, enabling him to work with clients from different cultural backgrounds.
He founded MVA in 2019 with the understanding that the business relationship with the client is as equally important as business to business relationship; this way, he could give companies and clients the same personalized service that allows projects to reach their highest potential and unlock the best results possible for each project.
